In the spring of 2025, our team took on the comprehensive re-roof of Horizon Apartments in Santa Ana, California. The Horizon Apartments re-roofing project involved a full-scale replacement and renovation of the existing roofing system across a multi-building residential complex totaling 172,800 square feet.
This comprehensive scope of work includes both pitched and flat roofing which utilizes a combination of asphalt shingles designed for durability, energy efficiency, and weather resistance and torch down roofing systems to ensure waterproof integrity and longevity in low-slope conditions to meet the structural and performance needs of the entire apartment complex.
Working across multiple buildings, the project required careful staging, material logistics, and tenant coordination to minimize disruption. Despite this, the team delivered a high-quality result on time and combining aesthetic appeal with improved performance and durability.
The project was completed over an estimated 4-month timeline from early April to late July, with minimal disruptions to the residents.
